Whilst viewing a problem on the LCD screen of the drain camera, the transmitter in the camera head produces a signal enabling the exact location and depth of the camera head to be determined with a hand held receiver at ground level.
Also, a device known as a sonde can be placed at the head of the high pressure water jet or our electric draincleaner for the same results.
Pipe location is excellent for knowing exactly where and at what your depth your defect is so you can make an informed choice, if further action is needed.
